Spring In Seattle? Sounds Like SAKURA-CON 2013! Sakura-Con wrapped up last month (WOW does time ever fly), so it's time to get around to posting my recap for this year! The story of Sakura-Con 2013 was that it was the con-going experience that looked as if it would happen, then looked as if it wouldn't happen, was set up to happen, was eventually called off and then finally, at the very last minute, actually happened. More specifically, my plans leading up to the con were rather shaky, then sort of firmed up before I left for Russia. The intention was that I would have plans that I could easily call off after I returned from Russia since there was a good chance that I'd be ill when I came back (I did my best to keep well, though)! When I came back, I wasn't too sick, and therefore, it looked as if I would be able to go to the con. However, a few days before I was set to leave, my illness worsened and after that, recovery was slow. On Thursday when I was supposed to leave for Seattle, I had to make the dishearteniSpring In Seattle? Sounds Like SAKURA-CON 2013! by *AnyaPanda

Tsukino-Con 2013 Report I meant to post this journal entry before I left for Russia, but didn't get the chance to unfortunately. But luckily, it was all typed up and waiting for me to post it when I came back, so here it is now! Once again, sorry to everyone about how slow I'll be with replying to messages over the next little while; jet-lag and illness makes it hard to get stuff done, but I'm doing my best. And now, the journal entry I wrote for you two and a half weeks ago:
Tsukino-Con pulled a fast one on us this year, as it does every year. We like to say that, while cons such as Cos & Effect are like "'kay guys, I'm coming, just to let you know, I'll be here shortly, ok I'm here", Tsukino-Con just knocks down the front door exclaiming "WHAT'S UP GUYS?" That being said, the lead-up to this year's Tsukino-Con was far more stressful than in past years. While I'm usually really excited during the week of the convention, this year I was seriously dreading the con's arrival. HTsukino-Con 2013 Report by *AnyaPanda

Another Con Over...So I recently got back from Tsukino-Con 2013! I have a pretty major con hangover at the moment, so do bear with me as I slowly get back to replying to messages and updating. But yeah, despite me being super exhausted, Tsukino-Con was a blast! I'll be uploading a con video diary as well as a con summary journal soon, so please do stay tuned! And of course, if you have commented to me recently, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Con Reports and Project Updates

New RCS Blog!

Greetings!

As some of you reading this may already know, The RCS started its blogging over on its Wordpress blog. However, for various reasons, the group has agreed to retire our old Wordpress site in favour of this new Blogspot one. The Wordpress blog will now go dormant, but will still stay up for redirection and archival purposes and this one will take over as the main place to track all of our updates and projects.

For those of you perhaps wondering about our podcast, while that has been on hiatus for the last year or so, it has not been discontinued and will therefore be picked back up again soon. That project will also be tracked and housed on this new blog.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to bringing you more updates on Blogger!

This is the official deviantART for the cosplay group, The Royal Cosplay Society. We are a Canadian-based cosplay group currently comprised of nine members. While the group itself was founded in late 2011, our members have cosplay experience starting from 2012 and going back as far as 2007. We come together to do multiple exciting cosplay-related projects, including CMVs, mini-documentaries, photoshoots and an official group "cosplay how-to" podcast.
